Columbia has been for sale on ebay. I don't know how long ebay's listings are available,
but there are wonderful pictures and descriptions of this great boat. Also, notice how foolish the bids were. Don't those folks know what "Tucker Boat" means?

There is also a very classy ad for the boat at: www.columbiasternwheeler.com

    Hi Lynn,

I'm Jess's grandaughter,Amy. Gordon is my father. I had the wonderful opportunity to live with my parents aboard the Columbia for a year. It was such a fantastic and fun part of my parent's lives. I am so blessed to have shared it with them. The Columbia was the scene for many great parties. I'm so proud of you, mom and dad, for living your dream.

Greetings from The Tucker Built Columbia:
We purchase The Columbia from Mr. Engfer in May of this year (2007).The boat is currently moored just off the Ohio River on the Cumberland River at the Lake Barkley Resort Park. The thought occured to us that the Tucker family might wish a family reunion aboard the Columbia. The Resort Park is an ideal location for such an event and we would welcome the opportunity to meet you and learn more of the Tucker history. We live aboard the Columbia and cherish each day. Our email address is homes@reserveavacation.com

  8. Hi Lynn,

I got a call from my daughter in Knoxville informing me that the COLUMBIA had been sold and was on Lake Barkley. She sent the blog from Dave Mackeller, which included his email address.
I tried to email him but have not had a reply. Do you have any more information? I would very much like to see the boat again.
Hope all is going well with you.

    Thanks Gordon.

The COLUMBIA has sold and is presently (Summer 2008) located on Gen. Joe Wheeler Lake in Northern Alabama. I met the new owner at Pirate's Chest Marina, Decatur, but do not know how to contact him.
